French mass media representatives reviewed the living conditions of IDPs

On October 7, reporter of Famous French newspaper "l'Opinion" Claude Lobian, “Institute European Perspective and Security” think tank director Emanuel Dupuis and chief editor of "TTU" newspaper Giyen Monsuen who visited our country in order to prepare a report on Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabagh conflict and the situation on the contact line of troops reviewed the conditions created in the settlement built for IDPs in Masazir settlement, Absheron district. Deputy Chairman of the committee Fuad Huseynov thanked to foreign journalists for visiting our country in order to review the life of our compatriots who have been living as refugees and IDPs for years as a result of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabagh conflict and to prepare reports about it in the press agencies they represent. It was reported that Azerbaijan government undertook to solve all problems of these people who left their native lands. State Program and Annexes to it on the implementation of comprehensive actions related to providing refugees and IDPs with employment, education, housing, medical care, social welfare was confirmed by the Order of the President of Azerbaijan. 95 residential complexes with all social-technical infrastructures were built for IDPs up to now and housing conditions of 50 thousand families or IDPs more than 250 thousand were improved by Azerbaijan government. Approximately more than 6 billion USD was spent in the last 23 years to solve the social problems of refuges and IDPs. Foreign mass media representatives reviewed the conditions created in 540-seat senior secondary school No.33 of Zangilan region and viewed children's handicrafts studying in the 280-seat kindergarten. The visitors listened to the songs performed by children glorifying peace and friendship among the nations. Foreign journalists also reviewed the living conditions of IDPs resided in the settlement. It was brought to the attention of visitors during the conversation at a tea table in the apartment of IDP from Zangilan region Arshad Piriyev that today Azerbaijani government provides comprehensive care and attention to the citizens living as refugees and IDPs and ever focuses on the solution of their problems. In spite of all these, IDPs live with the wish to return to their native lands. They are sure that their wishes will come true under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.
