The most benefit of my visit will be to bring the information about Azerbaijan’s problem in respect of internally displaced persons to world’s community once again. Walter Kalin , the representative of UNO Secretary General on human rights of internally displaced persons paying visit to our country told in the press conference conducted on May 24 in the Cabinet of Ministers together with the Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the State Committee on the Issues of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Chairman of the Republican Commission on International Humanitarian Aid Mr. Ali Hasanov and for the representatives of mass media. Mr. Ali Hasanov informed about the purpose of Mr. Walter Kalin ’s visit to Azerbaijan, his activity within the visit, as well as the numerous meetings held by him. He reminded that the report to be prepared on the conclusion of visit would be submitted to Human Rights Council of UN General Assembly. Walter Kalin said in reply to the question on contribution of his visit that the most benefit of his visit would be to bring the information about Azerbaijan’s problem in respect of internally displaced persons to world’s community once again. Secondly, the UNO and its structures would continue their assistance hereupon. Third, the internally displaced persons noticed that the international organizations didn’t forget them. Mr. Ali Hasanov added further that the UNO official witnessed the compliance with the recommendations in the locations. I was sure that the government of Azerbaijan was deferential to the resolutions UNO structures and cooperated it on the ground of mutual confidence. This visit would prove that Armenian-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict didn’t come to an end, the problem of internally displaced persons in Azerbaijan remained. The guest stated in his reply to subsequent question that the known four resolutions of UN Security Council remained valid still yet. The Security Council assigned the Minsk Group of OSCE to conduct negotiations. This structure had worked out its mock-up principles. Azerbaijan accepted them. Then the basic issue is obtaining agreement between the parties. I’ll call the international community to strengthen efforts in the direction of this conflict. I call the parties to take into account the internally displaced persons in the case of reaching the peace agreement. “The activity of UNO is diversified. We are ready to render our assistance to Azerbaijan”, he emphasized. The official of UNO answered the other questions profoundly within the frame of his mission.
