Next manifestation of state care: Construction work in the 16th settlement built in Fuzuli region for IDPs and related to the cancellation of last Finnish-type settlement is underway

As a result of this policy which its foundation was laid by national leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, sustainable measures are being implemented today at the expenses of funds provided by state support, as wells as State Oil Fund to alleviate concerns of refugees and IDPs in various areas in the country until return of them to their native lands. Note that the such measures related to the improvement of living conditions of IDPs which is the basic principles of the policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev are carried out in stages in accordance with the State Program approved by the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic dated July 1, 2004 and the relevant attached provisions. And the 16th settlement designed for 400 IDP families which its construction is successfully continued today in Fuzuli region is an obvious example of this care and attention. The settlement is built according to the paragraph 1.1 of "Annexes" made by decree dated October 31, 2007 to the "State Program on the improvement of living conditions of refugees and IDPs and the increase of their employment" approved by decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 1, 2004. Work in this settlement built with all necessary social-technical infrastructure facilities for IDP families who temporarily settled in the last Finnish-type settlement in the region is carried out rapidly and with high quality. It should be noted that there were 15 Finnish settlements in the country up to now. 14 of them have already been eliminated and the 15th Finnish settlement will be eliminated during this year and IDPs settled there will be transferred to the newly built modern settlement. Based on the project, there will be 400 apartments with 20 one-room, 200 two-room, 168 three-room and 12 four-room in the settlement. In the territory of new settlement built by Social Development Fund for IDPs which was designated as a customer organization, 360-seat school building, 120-seat kindergarten, medical center, club-community center, post office building and administrative building are constructed and extensive road network is built as well. Settlement will fully be supplied with gas, water and electricity and these works are done in parallel. IDPs expressed their deep gratitude to Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan Republic by emphasizing daily care and attention, which they always feel in their lives, by President of Azerbaijan Republic to the solution of their various problems and they mentioned that they always rely on the honorable President and believe that our lands will be liberated from occupation as a result of strong and principled policy of the President as a Supreme Commander-in-Chief and Fuzuli people like other IDPs will return to their native lands as a whole. Worthy response to the enemy by the Army of Azerbaijan Republic under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief in April and liberation of the occupied area of 2 thousand hectares in a move further increased the confidence. Such care and attention of our President to the main problem of the country, as well as these successful steps on the strengthening of their social protection as a result of these, the scale of the work on this allows us to say that during the leadership of the country by the President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has become a country having an economic power which can solve all the problems of citizens living the life of refugees and IDPs. This is also manifested in the lives of the IDPs. IDPs look forward to the fully liberation of their lands from enemies. Confidence in them increases day by day and the regular efforts of President, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev in this area which made our country the world's fastest-growing country as soon as possible increases the confidence of the day is not too far away. IDPs have a special place in the monolithic unity of the people, army and President Ilham Aliyev.
