Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov met with the IDPs in Fuzuli and Tartar regions

The chairman of the State Committee on Deals for the Refugees and IDPs also reviewed the monument “Maragha-150” in village Shikharkh of Tartar which a large part destroyed by the Armenians. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals for the Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov visited the settlement Zobujug built ten years ago during his visit to Fuzuli, met with the IDPs here and exchanged views with them. During the meeting, the residents of the settlement said that they don’t have any problems and they have expressed their deepest gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for building the settlements having the entire social and technical infrastructure in such a territory with clean air, water and food. They highlighted that they will be together with our military officers at any time by the order of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief in order to release our occupied territories. While reviewing the settlements resided by the IDPs in Fuzuli region, Deputy Prime Minister mentioned that he witnessed the cultivation works are being carried out in grain fields and green areas are being built on the edge of the roads and thousands of plane trees are being planted in all the areas. x x x While visiting Tartar, the Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov met with the IDPs temporarily resided in the village Shikharkh of the region, as well as visited the IDP from Lachin region, 82 years old Avaz Mikayilov and talked to him in detail. Avaz Mikayilov stated that his sons and even he is ready to go to war despite of his old age. While visiting village Shikharkh, Ali Hasanov also reviewed the monument “Maragha -150”which a large part was destroyed by Armenians. One of the numerous sources proving the resettlement of Armenians to Karabakh is "Maraga-150" monument. This monument was built in 1978 by the Armenians on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the resettlement of Armenians from Maragha, Iran to Karabakh after the Treaty of Turkmenchay concluded between Russia and Iran in 1828. The monument “Maragha-150” was deliberately destroyed by Armenians when the territorial claims began against Armenia and Azerbaijan at the end of the twentieth century. The monument which is consistent means to expose Armenian guile and deception has a major political significance. Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov talked about the importance of the rapid restoration of the monument and provision to the people and foreign press representatives visiting our country. He stated that he will inform the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan about that.
