The results of the fire in the building where the internally displaced persons are settled are eliminated

On March 27 Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Ali Hasanov reviewed the progress of the major repair works carried out for the elimination of the results of fire in the Novkhani recreation center in Sarigaya massive of Binagadi district where 14 internally displaced families from Gubadli region are settled temporally. As a result of fire, it was reported that 1200 sq. m. area of the roof of building burnt but the apartments were not damaged severely. Immediately after the incident, internally displaced persons were not assisted by Gubadli and Binagadi Region district executive powers and rental fees were paid to them for two month in advance to stay there temporarily until the completion of repair works. After that, Deputy Prime Minister met with internally displaced persons and was interested in their problems. Internally displaced persons expressed their gratitude for the attention and care to them. Ali Hasanov stated that the solution of the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons is ever in the spotlight of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Chairman of State Committee expressed confidence that our lands will be liberated from occupation soon, the refugees and internally displaced persons will return back to their native lands, as a result of successful and decisive policy of President Ilham Aliyev. Highlighting that the internally displaced persons residing in the building live here more than 20 years, Deputy Prime Minister said about the works: “No one was injured among the residents as a result of fire. Spreading of fire to the apartments is avoided, as a result of the operative measures carried out by the Ministry of Emergency Situations to extinguish the fire. But 1200 sq.m of the roof of building burnt completely. Serious investigations are carried out for the causes of the fire.” Expressing that urgent measures are carried out by the State Committee for the elimination of the results of fire, Ali Hasanov stated that major repair works will be completed in a short period. Deputy Prime Minister stated that works are carried out by Gubadli and Binagadi executive powers for the solution of the problems of internally displaced persons residing at the building. Ali Hasanov gave tasks on the implementation of major repair works in a high quality and the solution of the problems of families residing at the building.
