Senator from France met with IDPs in Baku.

  “The refugees have a right to return to their lands and Parliament of France will be informed about this.” Senator of the upper chamber of France Senate Natali Gule visiting Baku on March 19 by invitation of Strategic Investigation Center under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan together with ambassador of France in Azerbaijan Gabriel Keller met with IDPs settled in the territory of the house construction unit #2 in Binagadi district. After meeting with internally displaced people as a result of Armenian-Azerbaijani, Upper Garabagh conflict and living under terrible conditions senator stressed that it is time to stop to shut eyes to the current situation and the world to know the truth about these people. The senator was astonished at IDPs and refugees’ insistence on returning to their lands. Senator mentioned that of course they are right when they require providing their rights, because, the international organizations, including UNO accepted these rights. Then visiting the new buildings constructed for refugees the senator highly appreciated the policy carried out by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev for improvement the trying condition of his compatriots. Notwithstanding created conditions can not substitute the refugees’ homelands.
