Contending of Azerbaijan, one of the today’s developed countries of the world with the problem of refugees and internally displaced persons is regretful

Deputy Chairman of State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Fuad Huseynov has met the delegation consisting of members of Slovakia-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group of the National Council of Slovak Council visiting our country, on April 10. During the meeting Deputy Chairman of the Committee provided detailed information to the guests about Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, its causes and historical roots and made allowance that living a life of refugee and internally displaced persons by the Azerbaijanis more than one million for many years as a result of the conflict is the main and the most painful problem of Azerbaijan today and that he regrets delay of conflict resolution, pursuing an aggressive policy by Armenia even not paying attention to the decisions and resolutions adopted by international organizations regarding solution of the problem and that strict measures have not been taken against the aggressor. It was noted that the State Program and its Annexes were approved according to the relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. These affairs are continued successfully in accordance with the articles considered in these state documents. For these purposes 90 new settlements were built and housing conditions of 240 thousand displaced persons were improved up to date. Head of Slovakia-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group Madey Robert expressed his gratitude for detailed information about the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons of the Country, measures carried out by the Azerbaijan state in the direction of its solution and emphasized support of his country to the right stand of Azerbaijan in the direction of fair solution of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict stating his regret for Azerbaijan, today’s developed country of the world facing the problem of refugees and internally displaced persons and brought to notice importance of further support for development of relations between two countries in the framework of international organizations.
