The Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov: It is “Justice for Khojaly” campaign especially, that makes world become widely aware of this tragedy.

On June 20, three-volume book titled “Leyla Aliyeva: “Justice for Khojaly!” (new strategic model against international Armenian terror) has been presented in Baku. The Institute for Human Rights of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs, “Justice for Khojaly” International Awareness Campaign and “Caspian Izvestiya” International Information Agency have jointly organized the presentation of the three-volume book by the writer and publicist, honoured journalist Vasif Samadov and doctor of philosophy in political sciences Rovshan Valizadeh. The Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov said that Khojaly genocide is one of the greatest tragedies of the twentieth century. He noted that this tragedy received a political assessment as a result of the efforts of great leader Heydar Aliyev. President Ilham Aliyev ordered decrees relating to the genocide. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has played an important role in promoting Khojaly genocide as well. Thanks to the launch of the “Justice for Khojaly” campaign with the initiative of the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, world obtained detailed information about the genocide. Ali Hasanov informed that three-volume book will be translated into English and Russian and said: “There is information in these books that even our society has not heard about. World community should be aware of it.” The Deputy Prime Minister said that failure to resolve the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict is the result of unfair approach to this issue by the international community. Ali Hasanov said: “Our hope is our state, people and our President. As a result of the successful policy of our President, severe economic, social crisis is deepening in Armenia. No one needs Armenia. People leave this country and its economy is in critical situation. Ordinary Armenians are aware of this as well: If ruling regime does not change in Armenia, the problems will not be resolved.” The Director of the Institute for Human Rights of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), MP of Milli Majlis Aytan Mustafayeva emphasized in her speech that world has a double-standard approach to the serious tragedies which Azerbaijan confronted. She pointed out that international organizations still have failed to take effective steps against Armenia during the solution of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict. MP of Milli Majlis said that it is important to establish Khojaly tribunal regarding to the Khojaly genocide. Information and photo materials on Khojaly genocide of AzerTag have been widely used in the preparation of three-volume book.
