A meeting was held with internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Binagadi district

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the State Committee on deals of the Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Mr. Ali Hasanov met with internally displaced persons settled in this region as well as in other districts on July 17 in Binagadi District Executive Power. During the meeting requests of IDPs have been heard, applications and complaints have been considered, tasks were given to solve their problems. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the State Committee on deals of the Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Mr. Ali Hasanov told about the measures taken by the government to solve the problems of internally displaced persons. It was noted that President Ilham Aliyev announced the problems of our compatriots displaced from their native lands as a result of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno (Mountainous) Karabakh conflict as the number one problem of our country. The Deputy Prime Minister said that the series of measures are being taken in this regard and stated that 82 modern settlements and neighborhoods for refugees and IDPs with all socio-technical infrastructure were built in Baku and other regions, the housing and living conditions of 180 thousand refugees and internally displaced were improved so far. During the meeting Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on deals of the Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Mr. Ali Hasanov listened carefully to the problems of refugees and IDPs, several issues were promptly solved just on the spot and some requests were recorded in order to consider, examine and take relevant measures. Dilsuza Guliyeva expressed her satisfaction with the meeting and said: “During the meeting Deputy Prime Minister was interested in the problems of everyone. He gave relevant instructions in order to solve our problems.” D. Guliyeva expressed her gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev for the works done to improve the housing conditions of internally displaced persons. Sona Huseynova displaced from Kalbajar district said that meeting was highly organized and noted that Deputy Prime Minister listened carefully to their problems and gave necessary instructions just on the spot. She said: “We have been living the life of internally displaced persons for 20 years. We have always felt the care of our government. We are grateful to our President for this attention and care for us”. The reception was attended by the Head of Executive Power of Binagadi District Khaleddin Isgandarov, Management of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Heads of Departments and Offices, Representatives of the Committee on Baku districts, and at the same time deputies of the Heads of Executive Powers of the occupied regions.
