Reception of citizens was held in the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs

On May 15, reception of citizens becoming refugees and internally displaced people as a result of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was held in the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, their appeals on different issues were heard and their applications and complaints were considered. Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Mr. Ali Hasanov received internally displaced persons. Ali Hasanov carefully heard the applications, a number of applications of citizens were solved on the spot, and applications on the other issues were registered for their review and for taking relevant measures. In general, more than 450 citizens took part in the reception. Management of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Representatives of the committee on Baku districts, deputy heads of executive power of the occupied regions participate in the reception, held on the 15th day of each month. Information on reception of the citizens is posted on the official website of the Committee. Refugees and IDPs participating in the reception expressed their satisfaction for the sensitive attitude shown towards them, at the same time, mentioned concerns caused by the impatience of some citizens. IDP from Jabrayil region said: “I came to the reception and my problem was settled on the spot. Our President Ilham Aliyev shows all kinds of attention and care to us-internally displaced persons. We are very pleased with our President.” IDP from Lachin region noted: “Today our problem was considered at high level and task was given on its solution. Our President Ilham Aliyev always pays special attention to us- internally displaced persons. Therefore we express our deep appreciation to our President. Everything was very well organized here today”. As it is known, President Ilham Aliyev announced the problems of our compatriots driven out of their home lands as a result of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict the number one problem, consecutive events are carried out in this direction. 82 modern settlements for refugees and IDPs in Baku and other regions of the country with all the social and technical infrastructure have been built so far, the housing and living condition of more than 180 refugees and internally displaced persons has been improved. President Ilham Aliyev pays sufficient attention to such people. Works towards improving housing and living conditions of refugees and internally displaced persons are continued on this day and this problem is solved gradually.
