The Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of State Committee on Deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Chairman of the Republican Commission on International Humanitarian Assistance Mr. Ali Hasanov received Deputy Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait visiting our country, Chairman of the Board of Directors “Asian Committee of Muslims” of International Islamic Charity Organization Adel Abdullah Al-Falahi on May 8, 2014. During the discussion of the events held so far and those intended to be held in connection with the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons in our country by the representation of the organization in Azerbaijan represented by the guest, the Deputy Prime Minister A.Hasanov gratefully mentioned previous meetings with Mr. Adel Abdullah Al-Falahi and for the humanitarian projects and charitable activities carried out under his guidance Mr.Adel Abdullah Al-Falahi was rewarded with the “Order of Friendship” by the Head of state in 2010 and associated them with high level cooperation between these countries, as well as goodwill activity of the guest. Ali Hasanov regretfully stressed that it was the occupation day of a place - sacred for the people of Azerbaijan, the pearl of Azerbaijan, the Eastern Conservatory Shusha, which has given outstanding leading figures to the world music culture, stated that due to Armenia’s non-constructive position with the support and recommendation of its patrons, failure of the OSCE Minsk Group dealing with settlement of the conflict to achieve a concrete result for more than 20 years with mediatory mission, the continuing injustice in the world, the leading countries protecting chiefly their own interests in the region, the conflict remained unsolved to this day. A.Hasanov noted that today, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the country has become one of the world’s most advanced countries, the country developed day by day and that the President pursued an independent policy in all areas, also specially emphasized that sooner or later justice will win and as the President has repeatedly stated, we will not compromise an inch of our lands. Deputy Prime Minister expressed that chiefly, compatriots driven out of their native lands suffered from Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh, however, Azerbaijan undertook to solve the problems of the citizens of this class, 82 modern settlements were built together with all the social and technical infrastructure, more than 180 thousand refugees and internally displaced persons had been transferred to these settlements, positively appreciated long-term activity of representation of “Asian Committee of Muslims” of International Islamic Charity Organization of Kuwait in Azerbaijan in connection with the solution of the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons and expressed his confidence in future success of work in this area. Adel Abdullah Al-Falahi expressed his gratitude for sincere reception, detailed information, and pleasant words said about the organization he represented, stated that he was proud of the development of Azerbaijan, was interested in the solution of the problem of Kuwait the as soon as possible, in return of refugees and internally displaced persons to their native lands, always supported the position of Azerbaijan in every area of his country. In the end, the book “President’s care for refugees and internally displaced persons” was presented to the guest.
