In line with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has launched another phase of the “Great Return” program, relocating families to the city of Khojavend, the Girmizi Bazar settlement, and the Khojavend village in Khojavend district.
As part of this phase, 6 families comprising 24 people were resettled in the city of Khojavend, 6 families totaling 24 individuals were relocated to the Girmizi Bazar settlement, and another 6 families consisting of 20 people moved to the Khojavend village of the district.
The residents returning to their native homeland expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care provided to them. They also conveyed their appreciation to the valiant Azerbaijani Armed Forces and our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, and prayed for mercy for our martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.
Representatives of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the districts of Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand, as well as the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, attended the ceremony.
