One more newly constructed school building was brought into use of internally displaced children by the State Committee for Deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons

Internally displaced children temporarily settled in Ramana settlement of Sabunchu district, Baku city have already started a new academic year in newly constructed building for Khankendi complete secondary school No.4 named after Nizami Ganjavi. Due to the result of measures associated with improving the living conditions of internally displaced persons, that is one of the fundamental principles of the policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev, tent camps in the country were abolished, all these people moved to modern type settlements. State programs have been adopted to improve their material welfare; important measures have been taken to increase social allowances. Such new school buildings constructed in many parts of the country reveals the reality that Azerbaijan government always takes care of its citizens, the solution to their problems is an important direction of the state policy. Condition created in 300-seat building in Ramana settlement of Sabunchu district by the appropriate Decree of President of Azerbaijan Republic also approves it. Giving children qualitative education, care, creation of necessary conditions for them, formation of the growing generation as decent citizens is one of the main principles of the state child policy in Azerbaijan. Photo stands, reflecting care to education and meeting of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev with internally displaced persons and Heydar Aliyev corner have been installed the school foyer. Photo stands of new settlements, put into service up to now, have also been established here. New school building has been constructed by the order of Social Fund for the Development of Internally Displaced Persons (SFDI). The construction of the school was completed in September of this year. At this educational institution, distinguished by a high condition, remarkable for modern training equipment, all conditions were created for training and education. In 300-seat school building constructed 1 hectare area as a whole, classrooms, as well as a gym, an auditorium, laboratories, science rooms, computer room and dining room have been established. Sports ground has been built around the school. The building is fully equipped with electricity, water and modern heating system as well. It noteworthy that Khankendi secondary school No. 4 named after Nizami Ganjavi has a long history and has been operating since 1945 as Azerbaijan school, made its contribution to the development of Azerbaijan education. It has played an essential role in the preservation and promotion of Azerbaijani ideas, our literature, culture, traditions in Nagorno-Karabakh and formation of high moral values in the youth. Taking into consideration the importance of the provision of the school’s efficient operation in the future, the President of Azerbaijan Republic signed a Decree on 30 December 2012 for the construction of 300-seat new building for complete secondary school No. 4 named after Nizami Ganjavi in Ramana settlement of Sabunchu district, Baku city where the majority of Khankendi people temporarily settled.
