A training session on “Application of Literary Language Norms in Official Correspondence: Theory and Practice” was conducted for employees at the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons. The training aimed to enhance awareness of literary language norms and improve the use of literary language in official correspondence. More than 30 employees from the committee’s structural divisions participated in the session.
It was highlighted that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev placed special emphasis on the status and development of the Azerbaijani language in his state-building policies, and President Ilham Aliyev has continued this policy by making important decisions to enrich the national literary language, adapt its use to the demands of globalization and promote the development of linguistics in the country.
The training emphasized the necessity for every civil servant to be well-versed in the standards of the Azerbaijani literary language and to use it correctly in official and business correspondence. The session analyzed the application of literary language norms in various texts prepared by the committee’s structural divisions.
The training, moderated by Vugar Nasirov, Deputy Head of the Committee’s Apparatus, addressed employees’ questions and included discussions.
