Under the First State Program for the Great Return to the territories liberated from occupation in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the return of internally displaced persons to their native lands continues. To date, nearly 2,000 families have been relocated to restored and newly built residential areas. In the Lachin district, 789 families (2,944 people), including those in Lachin city, Zabukh and Sus villages, have already settled.
In Lachin city, which has been restored and modernized with necessary social and technical infrastructure, as well as in the newly constructed Zabukh and Sus villages, all conditions for the comfortable and safe living of residents have been created. Employment for the returning population is also a priority. They are being provided with job opportunities in various fields.
