An event was held at the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan on June 23, in honor of State Employees’ Professional Holiday.

Chairman Rovshan Rzayev congratulated the employees on the special day, recalling President Ilham Aliyev’s words that “being in public service is not a privilege but a responsibility and an opportunity to serve people”. He wished them success in their work. Rzayev emphasized that the committee has important responsibilities in organizing and implementing state policies related to refugees and internally displaced persons, particularly in the priority area of the Great Return. He stressed the necessity for each employee to work with high responsibility to fulfill these tasks. The special attention and care given by the President and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva to resolving issues related to refugees and internally displaced persons were noted with deep gratitude.

In accordance with the results of the evaluation of service activities in the state service, several committee employees were awarded certificates of appreciation and valuable gifts.

State employees who spoke at the event congratulated their colleagues and expressed their gratitude to the country’s leadership for the favorable conditions created for effective work.
