The world community should know terror, genocide and expansionist policy of Armenians against Azerbaijanis and Turks

There was a meeting with Galandar Bayramli, an Azerbaijan-born Turkish citizen, marching from Ankara to Baku on foot as protest to Khojaly genocide, at the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs on May 19. The Deputy Prime Minister, chair of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov evaluated 58-year-old Galandar Bayramli’s decision to march afoot to Baku from Ankara on March 21 – the day of Novruz holiday as protest to Khojaly genocide, as an example for real patriotism. The Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Ali Hasanov said Armenians committed different terrorist acts, genocide against Azerbaijanis and Turks from time to time, and occupied our territories. And Khojaly genocide is the most terrible tragedy of the XX century. The world community should know and knows the truth about these facts. We must use all the civil ways to deliver these tragedies and Armenian falsification to the world. Your march that you started in Ankara and finished in Baku after two months is very important from this standpoint. The Deputy Prime Minister recalled the facts about treachery and betrayal of Armenians during the first and second World Wars and said the whole world should know Armenian trait. The chair of the Committee emphasized that Turkey and Azerbaijan were historically together. Mustafa Kamal Ataturk told our joy and sorrow are the same, and the great leader Heydar Aliyev called us “one nation – two states”. Mentioning the role of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev in strengthening the relations with fraternal states, Ali Hasanov emphasized the significance in consolidation of joint activity of congress of Diaspora organizations of Azerbaijan and Turkey held in Baku on initiative of the head of our state. The Deputy Prime Minister said our occupied lands will soon be freed. Thanking for attention and care, Galandar Bayramli said he arrived in Baku 3 days before, and visited Agdam region. He stated that main aim in marching was to deliver the tragedy committed by Armenians in Khojaly on February 26, 1992, to the whole world. He overcame 2 thousand 637 kilometres distance afoot. G. Bayramli said: “This is not easy, but right march of mine. This march will go on till Khojaly is released from occupation. I would like the world community to know who Armenians are, and Armenians to free our lands. I believe the enemy will be revenged”. Asli Mammadova participating at the meeting remembered Khojaly events and stated she had 28 martyrs in this tragedy. A.Mammadova said: “The enemy will not see my crying. Azerbaijan is a powerful state and will be able to own its lands. We will meet in Khojaly”. The deputy head of Khojaly region Executive Power Vahid Aliyev thanked Galandar Bayramli on behalf of Khojaly people. In the end Galandar Bayramli was given a documentary film disk prepared on the basis of archival materials and proving Armenian vandalism, also a carpet woven by Khojaly people was made a present to him.
