The extraordinary board meeting dedicated to the results of the six months of this year and the forthcoming tasks was held at the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It was brought to the attention that large-scale projects were implemented in the liberated territories on the basis of the first State program on the Great Return approved by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev, and necessary measures were taken to ensure the voluntary, safe and dignified return of IDPs. It was noted that the attention and care of the head of our state and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to improving the housing and living conditions of refugees and IDPs, strengthening their social protection arouses a deep sense of satisfaction and gratitude in them. It was noted that 217 families, 934 people have been moved to their native lands so far within the framework of the Great Return. Purposeful work is carried out to implement the instructions of the head of our state and the measures entrusted to the committee in accordance with the Great Return program.

At the board meeting, reports of the heads of structural units were heard and discussions were held on the organization of resettlement to the renovated and newly built settlements in the liberated territories, the current state of monitoring measures carried out in this regard, the main directions of promotional work on the Great Return, the preparation of the housing stock on the committee's balance sheet for the autumn-winter season and other issues.

Relevant decisions were made and instructions were given on the issues discussed at the board.
