French senators meet refugees and IDPs

A delegation of the French Senate led by senator Nathalie Goulet has today met Azerbaijani refugees and IDPs as part of their visit to the country. The delegation visited students hostel of Baku Management and Technology College in Darnagul students town. The French parliamentarians were informed that new settlements for refugee and IDPs families were constructed in various cities and regions of Azerbaijan. The senators were told that the settlements have educational, healthcare, communication and culture centers. They also learnt what the Azerbaijani government had been doing to improve the living conditions of refugees and IDPs. The French delegation viewed an IDP`s apartment here. The senators also visited an IDPs settlement in Sabunchu district, they promised to draw the French society`s attention to Azerbaijan`s problem of refugees and IDPs.
