Built a new settlement for internally displaced persons in Agjabedi Lachin district is waiting for its residents.

In regard with the implementation of the amendments approved by the decree of President of Azerbaijan Republic dated 31st of October, 2007 to the “State program on improvement of refugee’s and internally displaced person’s the life conditions and increasing their employment ” approved by the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic number 298 dated July 1st 2004, the construction of new settlements established for internally displaced persons in Agjabedi region area is completed and the relocation of internally displaced persons to the settlement will start in coming future. Agjabedi region (Lachin region for internally displaced persons), 552 families 1 new living settlement completed the construction. Common area of the houses is 31,18 sq m. 49 houses consist of one roomed flats, 194 houses consist of two roomed flats, and 237 houses are three roomed, 72 houses consist of four roomed flats. The new settlement was supplied with 1 two-floored school for 360 students, 1 kindergarten for 50 children, 1 club-community center, 1 medical object, 1 administrative building,1 fire extinguishing office with space for two vehicles, 2 water reservoir, 1 water sedimentation device, 1 water treatment device, 1 pumping station, 2 high-transformer, 14.7 km of road, 27.25 km of water line, 88.29 km of electric lines, 32.68 km of gas lines have been provided with.
