Today, on June 6, the information on fire break out in several houses at Ramana settlement of Sabunchu district, Baku has been posted on the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Some media outlets reported that the incident took place in the area called “Shusha refugee camp” at Ramana settlement.
The press service of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons reports that no fire broke out in the area called “Shusha refugee camp” at Ramana settlement, where IDPs are settled. The fire broke out several kilometers away from the said area and damaged the houses of local residents.
The press service once again asks the media outlets to pay close attention to the spread of information about IDPs, who are the vulnerable segment of society, and validate the information by contacting the State Committee before spreading it.
