The “Yukselish” (Rise) competition continues its work on implementation of the set goals. Currently, each of 940 participants who successfully passed the video interview round of the face-to-face stage is considered a potential candidate for the next stages. Certainly, the participant who wants to win must have the competencies defined by the Working Group of the competition, as these skills also give the winners a chance to work directly with executives involved in the competition.
As you know, the “Yukselish” competition brought together executives consisting of well-known people operating in Azerbaijan (https://yukselish.az/mentors.html). This time, the chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Rovshan Rzayev shared his recommendations regarding successful management.
- What would you recommend to those who want to become an executive?
- A successful executive must first of all be patriotic, loyal to their people and state. They must have a certain civic position on every issue and be able to show it. To have the relevant education, knowledge and outlook is one of the main conditions. They must clearly understand the purpose and find ways to convey them, must be able to communicate openly and sincerely with everyone. The ability to make a fair and right decision in any situation is very important. They must be able to gather capable, talented, well-informed, modern-minded people around them.
- What are the main features of a successful executive?
Let them learn modern knowledge and technology and use them successfully in favor of the motherland, the people and the state. They must learn deeply the statehood heritage of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, always make efforts to know the value of our independence and freedom, and be well-aware of the nature and history of Azerbaijan.
- What are your expectations from the participants of the “Yukselish” competition?
This competition itself is a success. It is a great chance to succeed in the future. I wish the competition will contribute the participants to get new ideas and find ways to implement them. Let them be ambitious and try to help each other to build a successful future. Probably, there are refugees and IDPs among them. Good luck to each participant! I wish that they will be able to use this success in their lives!
