Some electronic media have reported that several families are still living in the dormitory of Kurdamir Vocational Lyceum under severe conditions and not being moved to new apartments.           

Press Service of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs reports thereby that the new residential complex built for 563 internally displaced families in Kurdamir was commissioned on December 28, 2019. IDPs temporarily settled in dormitories and other administrative buildings in Kurdamir region were relocated to the complex. In addition, there are also internally displaced families living under the most severe conditions in surrounding regions among the people provided with apartments.

The first facilities which relocation was started in Kurdamir were the vocational lyceum`s administrative building and two dormitories. Apartments in the new residential complex were provided to 135 of internally displaced families temporarily settled in these facilities. 4 families were not provided with apartments under the current rule.

The reason why those families were not provided with new apartments was their current property and status conditions.
