The representatives of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan were present at the place of the incident regarding the collapse of a part of the roof of the 4^th floor of the dormitory located at “6 Nazim Hajiyev str., Narimanov district, Baku city”  and currently, investigation is being carried out related to the conditions of 17 internally displaced persons’ families temporarily settled at the same dormitory. It became clear that the person settled in the residential area in the collapsed part of the building’s roof  is from Jabrayil region in origin, but he is not IDP. No material damage was caused to any IDPs families temporarily settled at the dormitory as a result of the incident.

The State Committee carries out works for temporary placement of those families in the empty housing fund intended for emergency cases at different settlements in the territory of the republic taking into account that the building of dormitory is at poor conditions.
