Today in the morning, fire broke out in a one-storey structure where five internally displaced families temporarily settled in Zabrat settlement, Sabunchu district of Baku. Immediately after receiving information about the fire accident, responsible officers of the State Committee visited the scene. The IDPs, whose temporary shelters became useless as a result of the fire, were listed. At present, causes of the fire are being investigated by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The start of the fire in one of the empty rooms in the structure gives ground to certain doubts. Only after an objective investigation, the case will be given a legal assessment based on the opinion of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, burnable constructions of the structure with a total area of 1140 square meters and partitions consisting of wooden constructions burned in the area of 670 square meters. The remainder was protected from fire. The State Committee will offer the families who got damaged due to the fire new apartments in "Umid" settlement built for IDPs in Garadagh district.
