Recently, some electronic media have attempted to spread information about the official car of the chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs and misinform the public. We inform regarding this that within the structural reforms and the appointment of heads of the central executive powers made by the head of state last year, performance of the authorities of the deputy prime minister, as well as the chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs was terminated, and new chairman of the State Committee was appointed. In this case, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan has allocated state funds for the purchase of the new car, considering the fact that the official car remains in the use of the Deputy Prime Minister and it is necessary to provide the newly appointed chairman with an official car. Purchase of the official car was carried out based on the existing legislation. The process of choosing the official car brand is based on compatibility of them with the motor vehicles used by the officials of central executive powers of our republic.
