Strong wind blew off the roof of 7-storey 4 buildings in “Garant” settlement, where IDPs live in Mehdiabad, Absheron district. One of the building`s roof was completely damaged and the others were partly. At the instruction of the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, the Heads of the Construction-Repair and Utilities Department, Office of Housing Operations, and Managers of Enterprises being established, and responsible employees of those entities visited the scene immediately. Currently, the repair and construction teams involved in the scene are engaged in cleaning the blown structures of the roofs from the territory of the settlement and investigating the state of the roofs of the buildings. The responsible employees of the Committee have been determining the damage done to the settlement and IDPs. Elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster, restoration of the roofs of the buildings will be kept under the control of the State Committee until completion. At present, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are also at the scene.
