The State Committee held a board meeting

The next board meeting of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs was held on August 20. Mentioning that the comprehensive and sustainable development of our country is ensured under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, that the reforms carried out fully correspond to the interests of the people, that our state always care for its citizens, the Chairman of the Committee Rovshan Rzayev said that solution of social problems of IDPs is always in the center of attention. It was noted that consistent measures are being taken to improve their living conditions, new residential complexes are being built. The implementation of the instruction given by the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, who attaches great attention to this area, about relocating the IDPs living in the damaged buildings, in the most severe conditions to new apartments is being continued. The board`s agenda includes the record and registration of IDPs on the actual settlement, operational status of the housing fund which is at the balance of the Committee, the state of utilities provided to IDPs, review of citizens` appeal, etc. Reports of the heads of the relevant structural divisions of the Committee on each issue were listened, detailed discussions were held, ways of elimination of existing shortcomings were determined and specific instructions were given for fulfilling the set tasks.
