On May 3, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, met with Jean-Francois Mansel, the President of the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan in France and Mirvari Fataliyeva, the Secretary General of the Association, Head of Paris House of Azerbaijan. The Chairman spoke about the services of Paris House of Azerbaijan in spreading the truth of Azerbaijan in France. He emphasized that France, which is an influential state, should strive more as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, as well as informed about the work done to address the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons deported from their native lands during the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He said that the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev always keeps the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons in the center of attention, and steps are being taken to solve these problems. Rovshan Rzayev spoke about the exceptional services of the First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva in the development of France and Azerbaijan relations. He said that Ms. Mehriban Aliyeva always keep the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons in the center of attention, along with her socio-political, charitable activities. The First Vice President of Azerbaijan has been implementing important works to improve the living conditions of refugees and internally displaced persons. The Chairman of the Committee mentioned about the possibility of organizing a visit to the village Jojug Marjanli which was liberated from occupation as a result of the successful policy pursued by the President Ilham Aliyev to familiarize with the living conditions of our compatriots who returned to that village. Jean-Francois Mansel said that he would endeavor to deliver the truth of Azerbaijan to the French public objectively. The guest initiated a number of proposals on the future cooperation and mentioned about the prospects concerning this.
