Solution of the issues of refugees and IDPs is one of the priority areas to which the Head of State gives most of his attention even today.

This was elaborately discussed in the Board Meeting held in the State Committee on deals of Refugees and IDPS, which was dedicated to the final results of the nine-month period per the current year. On October 19, Board Meeting, which was devoted to the final results of nine months per the current year and the duties to be executed, was held in the State Committee on deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, with large participation of staff led by Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees Ali Hasanov. Opening the meeting with introductory speech, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees Ali Hasanov focused on the instructions and the forthcoming duties stated by the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev at his comprehensive and programmatic speech in the meeting of Cabinet of Ministers held under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, which was devoted to the final results of socio-economic development observed over the nine months per the current year as well as the duties to be executed, while discussing the issues on the agenda, and stated that the economic potential of our country has been further strengthened, and sustainable development dynamics has been provided as a result of successful socio-economic reforms and purposeful policy led by Mr. President. Referring to Mr. President's speech at the very meeting and statistical figures, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov noted that economic development in the country was ensured, as well as the social problems were solved in the past period of this year, and spoke about the achievements of our country in all spheres under the leadership of the head of state, as well as the diplomatic successes, the factors that increase the rating of our republic in the world community. Noting that the citizen of Azerbaijan was in the center of Mr. President's policy and the successes of this policy, Ali Hasanov said that despite some difficulties, all the main tasks were fulfilled as the Azerbaijan’s economy was developed under the leadership of the head of state. At the board meeting, it was emphasized that, the staff of the State Committee will continue to work hard to consistently and fully ensure Mr. President's important orders and instructions on the settlement of the problems of refugees and IDPs, which were declared the number one problems in our country and kept in the spotlight by him, as well as the implementation of all measures envisaged in the State Program approved by the relevant orders of the Head of the State in connection with this sphere and the appendices, other normative-legal documents, and will carry out timely and qualitative duties on the solution of various problems of our compatriots from this category. An extensive discussion was held on the agenda issues.
