The next stage of construction works in Jojug Marjanli is continued successfully

Pursuant to the Order of the President Ilham Aliyev dated June 15, 2017, the next stage of construction and restoration works done by the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs in Jojug Marjanli is continued successfully. On August 24, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov got familiarized with the course of construction works in the settlement built for IDPs in Jojug Marjanli. Firstly, Deputy Prime Minister met with residents resettled in 50 houses of which construction have been completed in Jojug Marjanli, talked to them and listened to their requests. At the meeting, it was highlighted that whole public community, refugees and IDPs support the President Ilham Aliyev’s decisive steps. They think that this is the beginning of our next successes, “Great Return” to our native lands. Then, Ali Hasanov reviewed the construction site together with the heads of companies working on the construction of the settlement, and gave specific instructions related to timely and high quality completion of the works. During the familiarization with the construction site, it was stated that, about 30 vehicles, more than 350 workers have been involved in the construction works. In the second stage of construction and restoration works, 100 private houses, 50-seat kindergarten, medical station, club-community centre, administrative building, post office and other necessary social and infrastructure facilities are constructed. 14 of the houses built on 17 hectares area are one-roomed, 38 two-roomed, 36 three roomed and 12 four-roomed. It was reported that, 44 houses have already been roofed; masonry works of other houses and public buildings have been completed. Subartesian well was drilled to a depth of 110 meters; road-street network was sanded and gravelled. 1000 meters pipe was laid for domestic drinking water supply. Currently internal and external plaster works and water laying works in the settlement are continued. 0, 10 hectares of land area will be allocated for each family in the settlement, 1.75 hectares of greenery will be laid, and roads, sidewalks and ditches will be built. The settlement will be supplied by electricity, natural gas and drinking water. Construction works in the settlement are planned to be completed in a month. Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs stressed the importance of implementation of construction works in a high quality and at a high level, listened to the offers of the heads of construction companies. The representatives of construction companies said that there were no problems in the course of the construction works.
