The final finishing works of residential neighborhood built for refugees in Tartar are carried out

On August 23, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov reviewed the progress of construction works in the neighborhood built for IDPs in Tartar region. The Deputy Prime Minister visited the construction site together with the heads of the Executive Powers of Tartar, Aghdam, Lachin and Kalbajar regions and the heads of companies working in the construction of a residential neighborhood, and gave specific instructions related to timely and high quality completion of works. After closely reviewing the progress of the construction works, the Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov held a meeting with the participation of heads of construction companies. Ali Hasanov gave specific instructions for timely completion of construction works, and stressed the importance of the high level execution of works according to construction rules. He stated that, along with the rapid construction work, quality should be given serious consideration too and residential complex should be delivered at a high level together with all infrastructure facilities. Representatives of construction companies highlighted that there were no problems with the progress of construction works. Ali Hasanov said in an interview with reporters, the residential neighborhood built in an area of 50 hectares in Tartar region is the largest settlement built for IDPs at the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev over the past 10 years. The secondary school building in the residential neighborhood is being built in accordance with a new project. Kindergarten, music school, club community center, administrative building, medical center were built at a high level. Delivery of the residential neighborhood, the infrastructure created here will be a very nice facility for Tartar region. The IDPs settled in the territory will be resettled in the residential neighborhood. The Deputy Prime Minister stated that, around the monument “Maragha-150” in the territory of Shikharkh settlement of Tartar region and mostly destroyed by Armenians is being renovated on the instructions of the head of state. This monument was built by the Armenians in 1978 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the relocation of Armenians from Maragha, Iran to Karabakh after Turkmenchay contract signed between Russia and Iran in 1828. The monument "Maragha-150" was deliberately destroyed by the Armenians at the end of the 20th century when the Armenia's territorial claims began against Azerbaijan. The Deputy Prime Minister said that the monument which is consistent means to expose Armenian insidiousness and lies has an important political significance and it will be shown to the people traveling to our country.
