Lots were drawn related to the resettlement of IDPs resided in Khazar district in new apartments

On July 21, a draw was carried out related to the resettlement of IDP families who resided in the dilapidated building in “Energetika” boarding house in Shuvalan settlement of Khazar district, in newly built and fully renovated apartments in Mazasir and Mehdiabad settlements with the participation of officials of Commission established under the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, Khazar district Executive Power, deputies of the heads of executive powers of occupied regions, and IDPs. Making a speech the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Garay Farhadov underscored works implemented to settle the problems of refugees and IDPs more than one million who have been displaced from their lands as a result of Armenian aggressive policy, to improve their living conditions, to provide them with job, education and other services. He highlighted that a humanist policy founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is successfully continued by the President Ilham Aliyev and the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva. All necessary measures and appropriate steps are taken in this regard. Today the funds allocated for refugees and IDPs by government in Azerbaijan are among the world's top indices. After the speeches, the draw ceremony was held. 151 IDP families have owned new apartments by drawing lots in turn.
