On July 7, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, Chairman of the Republican Commission on International Humanitarian Aid Ali Hasanov met with the members of Austrian parliament. Ali Hasanov informed the visitors about Azerbaijani lands occupied by the Armenian armed forces, the problem of refugees and IDPs faced by our country as a result of the occupation and talked about the events held on the social protection of our compatriots from this category. Chairman of the State Committee talked about the resettlement of Armenians in our ancient lands. Giving information about the works done by the President Ilham Aliyev to peacefully resolve the conflict, Ali Hasanov said that the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is constantly taken as a basis in the negotiations and we will liberate our lands sooner or later. Mentioning the problems of the people displaced from their native lands as a result of Armenian aggression and the measures taken to settle them, the Committee chairman highlighted that these people always feel homesick. Noting the care and attention provided by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the refugees and IDPs displaced from their native lands as a result of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Ali Hasanov said that consistent decisions are made to settle the problems of the people from this category. Principal approach to this sensitive issue is one of the priorities of the activity of the President Ilham Aliyev. This action is highly appreciated not only in the country, but also in the international arena. Expressing his gratitude for the detailed information, the member of Austrian parliament Yohanes Hubner highlighted that, the information they gained helped to create a complete picture of this sensitive problem. He considered praiseworthy the will of the government to operatively settle the problems of IDPs in Azerbaijan and the works done in this field. It was noted that the international community's attitude to the problem has a great importance. Fortunately, the Azerbaijani government, along with preparing for return, makes every effort to improve the situation of IDPs.
