After reviewing the mosque, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev toured the territory of Jojug Marjanli village. The President was informed about the works to be carried out in the village in detail. More than 6 billion manats have been spent to solve social problems of refugees and IDPs in the last 23 years. A residential complex consisting of 95 modern settlements and multi-storey buildings has been built here up to now. And 95 percent of it has been built in the last 13 years. As a result of the works done, housing conditions of 50 thousand families or 250 thousand refugees and IDPs have been improved. Currently, there is a need to improve the housing conditions of 80 thousand families or 340 thousand IDPs. This year the construction of 34 4-storey residential buildings is planned to be completed for 1170 IDP families in Tartar region. The construction of residential buildings in Masazir and Ramana settlements of Absheron district has already been started. The foundation of a new residential complex has been laid for 1026 IDP families in Garadagh district with the participation of the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva. President Ilham Aliyev highly appreciated the works done in Jojug Marjanli village and gave his instructions and recommendations.
