An event dedicated to the 94th anniversary of birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held in the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs. On May 4, an event dedicated to the 94th anniversary of birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev on “Heydar Aliyev factor in the establishment of stability, civil solidarity in Azerbaijan” was held in the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs. Firstly the participants of the event laid flowers at the bust of the Great Leader in the building of the State Committee. Making a speech in the event, the Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov stated that we can talk about the work done by Heydar Aliyev in all spheres of our life. The National Leader is Azerbaijan’s genius personality. He has used all his experience, political knowledge, perspective to develop the country and improve the lives of our people. The Deputy Prime Minister said: “Years will pass, but the experience of Great Leader will be used every time. Pay attention to the world economic crisis. Certainly, it affected the economy of Azerbaijan too. At that time, the President of Azerbaijan Republic benefited from the experience of the Great Leader. We didn’t earn revenues from oil in 1970s. We had oil, but the leadership of Soviet Union used it. Nevertheless, the country's economy was developing. The President Ilham Aliyev decided to benefit from this experience too. It was possible to achieve development at that time in cotton-growing, tobacco-growing, sericulture and other agricultural areas. Today that experience is used too. Works done yield result in this area now.” After that, a film “The start of Great Return- Jojug Marjanli” was shown. Making a speech at the event, the head of Shusha region Executive Power, Chairman of Public Union “Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh Region of Azerbaijan Republic” Bayram Safarov, Editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Azerbaijan”, MP Bakhtiyar Sadigov and an IDP from Lachin region Amirkhan Zeynalov spoke about the historical contributions of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov presented order “For service to Motherland” of the 3rd degree to the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Garay Farhadov who was awarded with the same order by the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev for his efficient activity in the area of social defence of refugees and IDPs.
