The Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev “On determination of a single monthly allowance for IDPs and persons equated to them” dated January 23, 2017 are highly appreciated by IDPs as the next successful step carried out to strengthen their social protection. Discussions made in mass media, statements made, written or verbal applications made to the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs related to this confirms it once again. Some IDPs appealed to the Committee, basing on that they are able to feed their families, engage with entrepreneurship activity, work in high position, say that they voluntarily refuse from single monthly allowance and propose the money to be given to our compatriots living in difficult conditions, as well as to be directed to the further increase of the amount of monthly allowance. More than 300 such applications were made from 10 occupied regions to State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs up to now. We provide one application from each region as an example.
