Zagatala region receives the residents of the newly build residential complex for 135 internally displaced families in its territory. Note that, such extensive measures related to the improvement of the living conditions of IDPs which is one of the basic principles of the policy pursued by the President Ilham Aliyev are carried out gradually according to the “State Program on the improvement of living conditions and increase of employment of the Refugees and IDPs” approved by the Decree dated July 1, 2004 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the relevant clauses of the additions to the same program. As a result of the measures taken in this field in recent years, measures and other normative acts intended in the same State Program and the additions to it was almost performed in time and the implementation of these measures are being continued today. As an obvious example of this, note that, according to the relevant clause of the additions to the above-mentioned State Program of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, due to the full completion of works in the new residential neighborhood together with all social and technical infrastructure for 135 internally displaced families temporarily resided in the territory of Zagatala, the relocation of the internally displaced families settled in the same territories to the new and modern residential complexes was started recently. New residential complex built in the territory of Ashaghi Tala village of the region includes 3 five-storey residential building each consisting of 45 apartments, as well as 150-seat school building, 50-seat kindergarten, medical center, post office, club and community center, administrative building and auxiliary buildings. Based on the project, there are 10 one-room, 65 two-room, 60 three-room, 10 four-room apartments in the residential complex for 135 families in the territory which was built according to the number of internally displaced families intended to resettle. Comprehensive works were carried out related to the electric power, drinkable water and gas supply, heat network and sewerage system of settlement. Modern road and street infrastructure was built here. There are all conditions for the education of students at the highest level in the school. Classrooms and gym, as well as 50-seat kindergarten of the educational institution has been equipped with all the necessary inventory and equipment. Two reservoirs each of with a capacity of 200 cubic meters create comprehensive opportunity to supply the residential complex with water continuously. Comprehensive renovation and landscaping works were carried out in the territory of the residential complex. Currently, resettlement of the internally displaced families who intended to settle here in the apartments in the new settlement is being continued with the participation of the relevant commission by the Department of Repatriation of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs. IDPs resettled in the new neighborhood expressed their deep gratitude to the President Ilham Aliyev for the conditions created for them. They highlighted that they rely on the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and believe that they will return back to their native lands soon as a result of the wise, decisive policy of the President of our country.
