Projects of international humanitarian organizations play very important role for Azerbaijan.

Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and Internally displaced persons, Chairman of State Committee for International Humanitarian Aid Ali Hasanov met a head of the Representative Office of "ADRA" international humanitarian organization of USA in Azerbaijan Republic on April 5. Along with the discussion of the issues of mutual interest, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov gave detailed information to the guest on Azerbaijan realities, Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, history of the problem and the conditions of refugees and internally displaced persons in Azerbaijan. Ali Hasanov emphasized that during the activity of the Representative Office of "ADRA" international humanitarian organization of USA in Azerbaijan Republic the development and assistance programs carried out in the cost of 80 million USD. We always highly appreciate this help. It would be very difficult for us, if all this aid wasn’t provided for us in former times. Thank God that Azerbaijan economy has become one of the fastest growing economies in the world currently. However, we never forget the goodness as a nation”. At the meeting where the comprehensive exchange of views are carried out on the development of mutual cooperation on the achievements gained in the framework of the projects carried out by representative office of the organization in Azerbaijan Republic, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov expressed that, today Azerbaijan Republic undertook to settle the problems of its citizens and day by day growing economic development created an opportunity for the settlement of this problem. At the same time, the priority projects for more than 1 million 200 thousand refugees and internally displaced persons who were displaced from their native lands as a result of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabkh conflict should be preferred. Expressing his gratitude for the reception Mihajlo Lutso stated that in spite of the continuation of Nagorno Karabkh conflict and the difficult situation of the internally displaced persons, we can say that your country has done a lot of works for the solution of their problems while reviewing the works done on humanitarian grounds. The diplomat mentioned that, the official Washington follows the events occurred in the line of contact of the front region very carefully. Stating that there are ample opportunities in the several fields between Azerbaijan and USA Mihajlo Lutso expressed that, we should expand the relations even more at current expenses. Expressing his gratitude for development of Azerbaijan in all the fields day by day the guest expressed his confidence that the projects intended on the internally displaced persons will be carried out timely and qualitatively and stated that it is important to work with the internally displaced persons in terms of humanity much more.
