Visiting the Grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Avenue of Shahids (martirs)

The representative of UN Secretary-General on human rights of internally displaced persons Mr. Walter Kälin honored the legacy of conspicuous statesman, National Leader Heydar Aliyev respectfully and laid a wreath in front of his grave by visiting together with Mr. Ali Hasanov to the Avenue of Honor on May 20. The legacy of well-known ophthalmologist, academic Zarifa khanym Aliyeva was honored, too, flowers were laid down on her grave. The guest laid down fresh flowers on the graves of Valiant Sons of Motherland in the Avenue of Shahids, martyred for the freedom and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. W. Kälin watched the view of Azerbaijan capital from the highest point of Baku.
