Construction of residential complex for internally displaced persons families in the territories of Gazakh and Sabirabad regions is continued rapidly

Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Ali Hasanov was in the residential complexes built for internally displaced persons in Gazakh and Sabirabad regions on July 3 in order to learn about the real situation of the progress of construction. At first, Deputy Prime Minister coming to Gazakh district Ali Hasanov has held joint discussions regarding construction works in the newly built estate in the meeting held with the participation of the representatives of the construction company. It was stated in the meeting that due to execution of Clause 1.7 of “Additions” made to “State Program on Improvement of Living Conditions of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and Increase of Employment” under Decree dated February 21, 2011 that was approved under Decree dated July 1, 2004 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, construction works of small town together with necessary social and technical infrastructure facilities for the families of internally displaced persons residing in the territory of Gazakh region temporarily are continued. In accordance with the Project, 10 buildings of 4-floored and 300 apartments are built in the territory. There are 52 one-room, 156 two-room, 88 three-room and 8 four-room apartments in the buildings. In addition, school building for 220 students, kindergarten for 50 children, medical station, ATS building and buildings for community centers are built in the territory. The residential complex will be supplied with gas, water, modern heating system and electricity completely. Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov got acquainted with the progress of construction works and listened to wishes and offers of managers of the construction companies and gave them his recommendations. Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Ali Hasanov came to Sabirabad region on that day and checked the progress of construction works in the small town built together with all necessary social and technical infrastructure facilities for 440 families of internally displaced persons residing in the Finnish settlements in the territory of that region temporarily.
