“TeliaSonera” will perform new social project for Azerbaijani refugees and internally displaced children

"TeliaSonera" Group of Sweden will perform new social project for Azerbaijani refugees and internally displaced children. Popular fairy tales of Sweden for children will be translated into Azerbaijan within the project and distributed to Azerbaijani refugees and internally displaced children. On May 5, the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, Ali Hasanov provided information about it in a meeting with the delegation of “TeliaSonera” Group of Companies. Ali Hasanov informed guests about Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, regretfully noted that there were no real results, though Minsk Group of OSCE, established for the settlement of the problem, had acted for many years. Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that delay in extending the settlement of the conflict was caused by double standards and stated that there were more than 1 million refugees and internally displaced persons in the country. President and CEO of “TeliaSonera” Johan Dennelind gave information about activities of the company in Azerbaijan, achievements of “Azercell Telecom” in mobile communications sector, services provided, application of new generation telecommunication technologies and other innovations.
