On November 19, the Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Republican Committee on Humanitarian Aid Mr. Ali Hasanov received the new head of the Representation of the Iranian Red Crescent Society in Azerbaijan Seyed Bahman Sobhani and former head Mohammed Reza Naghashi whose duration of activity came to an end. During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov evaluated the official visit of the President of Islamic Republic of Iran Hasan Ruhani last week, meetings held within the framework of the program of visit, signed documents as the striking example of high-level friendship, mutual cooperation relations between Azerbaijan and Iran and said that both countries and historical relations in all fields between the people of these countries became the example of not only a good neighborhood, but also the real brotherhood and friendly relations. Different humanitarian projects are being implemented by the Representation of Red Crescent Society in Azerbaijan of the government of Islamic Republic of Iran operating in our country in order to help in the solution of the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons. During the meeting, the activity of the Representation of Society in Azerbaijan was highly appreciated in this regard and confidence was expressed that projects planned in this field will be implemented successfully in the future because all conditions have been created by the government of Azerbaijan for free and transparent operation of international humanitarian organizations.
