The Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov was in new neighborhood built for internally displaced persons in Mingachevir on October 24.

Ali Hasanov visited the site with the representatives of relevant government agencies and construction companies and gave necessary tasks to constructors in order to implement works at high level and in a timely manner. Currently, 11 nine-storey, 594-flat buildings are being built according to the project. In addition, the construction of 480-seat school building, 140-seat kindergarten, medical station, Automated Telephone Station buildings and buildings for community center is rapidly continued. After getting closely acquainted with the course of construction works, the Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov held a meeting with the participation of the heads of construction companies engaged in construction works, talked to the constructers, listened to their suggestions and gave his recommendations. It was reported that as a result of the care and attention of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, housing and living conditions of thousands of internally displaced families are being improved each year. This housing area built in the territory of Mingachevir is constructed in accordance with the relevant paragraphs of the State Program approved by the appropriate orders of head of our state. It is planned to finish construction works on December which started on May of this year. Ali Hasanov gave concrete tasks in order to speed up the works on the façade and yards of the buildings taking into consideration the beginning of intensive rains in the first ten days of November and mentioned the importance of implementation of repair works at high level according to the rules of construction. It was reported that according to the State Program settlements and neighborhoods are currently being constructed not only in Mingachevir, as well as in the territories of Barda. Aghdam, Goygol, Garadagh, Beylagan, Saatlı and Hajigabul districts. Ali Hasanov noted that settlement of internally displaced persons is a priority standing before our country and said that head of state always keeps the problems of refugees and IDPs in the center of attention and for this purpose he set concrete tasks. These tasks should be implemented in a timely manner and at high quality. The representatives of construction companies said that there is no problem in the course of construction works and there is enough equipment, manpower including construction materials. It was emphasized that housing complex should be delivered in a timely manner and in high quality with all infrastructure objects. Ali Hasanov also met with the business managers of the Executive Committee on euro villages of European Games Organizing Committee. Some issues were discussed during the meeting.
