The State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs warns internally displaced persons about the cases of swindling.

The process of the resettlement of internally displaced persons to new apartments is implemented in high transparency with the presence of State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs, executive powers of the occupied districts and settlement districts and specially established committee comprising of the representatives of the communities of IDPs. Previously, although Committee warned IDPs about some cases involving swindle in Baku city, recently such events happened again in the districts of Baku and quite enough money was embezzled by different people not related to the Committee by deceiving a group of internally displaced person that they will be given apartments preparing lease agreement of order and special residential area with fraudulent ways. Internally displaced persons realizing that they were deceived by illegal actions of these swindlers requested help from the Committee in order to get their money back and punish this criminal group. The State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs reported that resettlement process is transparently carried out as it was before and strictly warns all internally displaced persons that if any internally displaced person involves in such cases of swindling, they will be subject to criminal prosecution. The State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs addresses all IDPs to report immediately to district police offices about this, when they encounter such cases.
