OSCE Minsk group co-chairs should make change in their activities.

On July 11, the Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs, Chairman of the Republican Commission on International Humanitarian Assistance Mr. Ali Hasanov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar regarding to the end of the expiration of his term of office. Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the problems of the refugees and IDPs arose as a result of this conflict, improvement of their living conditions were discussed during the meeting. The Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Ali Hasanov mentioned that there is a well-established mutual cooperation between two countries, relations entered into the new stage of development and expressed his gratitude for the humanitarian aid humanitarian and development projects implemented whether by the international humanitarian and development organizations of the USA operating in our country or by the Embassy of the United States of America to Azerbaijan and noted the importance of cooperation in this field. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his regret that the activities of the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs of Russia, France and USA do not have any results in the solution of the conflict within the framework of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and international law, return of refugees and IDPs to their native lands and stressed the importance of strengthening the efforts of OSCE Minsk group and making changes in their activities in the settlement of the conflict. Ambassador said that official Washington has always paid special attention to the solution of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict, improvement of the living conditions of Azerbaijani refugees and IDPs, return of refugees and IDPs to their native lands and highly evaluated the rapid economic growth in Azerbaijan, great influence of Azerbaijan in the international community in a short period of time, works done to improve the social condition of refugees and IDPs. Ambassador remembered the invaluable contribution of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. At the end, Ambassador said that he is pleased with the impressions he got from the meetings with IDPs settled in different areas, their great desire to return to their native lands and expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that he leaves Azerbaijan with good impressions. Current situation in the solution of solution of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict, future challenges to solve the problems of our compatriots as a result of this conflict, as well as other issues of mutual interest were discussed in the reception.
