The course of construction works in new neighborhood built for internally displaced persons in Mingachevir is discussed

The Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic, the chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov was in new neighborhood built for internally displaced persons in Mingachevir in order to inquire about the real situation of the progress of construction works on July 4. Ali Hasanov visited the site with the representatives of relevant government agencies and construction companies, became interested in the current situation in IDP camps, works done up to now and intended measures, gave concrete tasks to constructors in order to implement works at a high level and timely manner. It was reported that works to construct camp for internally displaced families settled temporarily in the territory of Mingachevir in connection with the execution of clause 1.7 of “Appendixes” made to "the state program for improving the living conditions of refugees and IDPs and for increasing employment” adopted by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan no. 298 dated on July 1, 2004, with the Order dated on February 21, 2011 are being implemented speedily. Currently 11 nine-storey, 594-flat buildings are being built according to the project. 36 one-bedroom, 288 two-bedroom, 234 three-bedroom, 36 four-bedroom flats are planned in building. Apart from these works, construction of 480-seat school building, 140-seat kindergarten, medical station, ATS (Automated Telephone Station) buildings and buildings for community center are underway. The Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov held a meeting with the participation of the heads of construction companies engaged in construction works, talked to the constructers, listened to their wishes and suggestions and gave his recommendations. This housing area built in the territory of Mingachevir is constructed in accordance with the relevant paragraphs of the State Program approved by the appropriate orders of our head of state. Ali Hasanov noted that settlement of internally displaced persons is a priority standing before our country and said that head of state always keeps the problems of refugees and IDPs in the center of attention and for this purpose he set concrete tasks. Strategy defined by the President Ilham Aliyev to resolve these tasks in high level and the tasks posed by care and attention to refugees and IDPs by the head of state should be implemented early and in high quality. The representatives of construction companies made a speech at the meeting and mentioned that there is no problem in the course of construction works and said that there are enough equipment, manpower as well as construction materials. It was decided that along with the rapid progress of construction works, strict attention should be paid to the quality of works and housing complex should be delivered in high quality with all infrastructure objects.
