In line with the instructions of Ilham Aliyev, the next relocation caravans have been sent to the city of Khojavend and to the village of Khanabad in the Khojaly district. As part of the “Great Return” program, the resettlement to the territories liberated from occupation continues.
Those moving to the city of Khojavend and the village of Khanabad in the Khojaly district are families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
At this stage, 46 families (177 people) have been relocated to the city of Khojavend, and 19 families (89 people) to the village of Khanabad.
The residents returning to their native lands expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care they are receiving. They also expressed their appreciation to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, and wished mercy upon our martyrs who sacrificed their lives in this cause.
