As reconstruction and restoration work continues rapidly in the territories liberated from occupation, the return of residents who have lived for years longing for their homeland has become a major historical event. With the organization of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and the support of the Special Representations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories, another flash mob reflecting the spirit of the “Great Return” has been held.
Within the framework of this action covering Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, former internally displaced persons who have returned to their homes shared the feelings of pride and joy they experience. In the video, residents living in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur voiced slogans praising the beginning of a new life.
Representatives of different generations took part in the flash mob. The prayers of elders reunited with their land after thirty years of separation, the determination of young people for reconstruction, and the cheerful laughter of children in their native yards form the main storyline of the video. Through the slogans they voiced, the returning residents expressed not only the will of an individual but the determination of an entire nation to return.
