Within the framework of the “Great Return” program to the territories liberated from occupation, awareness activities are being expanded to ensure the safety of residents and to combat mine threats. The next meeting in this series was organized for schoolchildren in the newly rebuilt village of Zabux in the Lachin district.
The event was organized by the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), with the support of the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Lachin district.
During the event, an ANAMA specialist provided students with detailed information about the dangers of mines and unexploded ordnance, the identifying signs of suspicious objects, explained the rules of conduct in hazardous areas, and distributed awareness brochures.
